Be clear about your starting point.
One can study many different triggers a strategy. In some organizations, it may be part of a regular planning process, but in most cases, there is an explicit trigger. The organization is below average and not meeting its objectives. That regulation or new technological developments – There may be a change in the external environment. Without this framework, it is too easy to spend the effort on the wrong things. Worse still, you get mid-term and reverse the trend.
Adjust your approach
No two practices are of the same strategy, therefore, do not accept, you can apply a standard method. Think about what is appropriate. Some knowledge is already at your fingertips, others require digging.
